Periodontics – treatment of bacterial infections affecting the gum tissue (periodontal disease), Pedodontics – (Pediatric Dentistry), Endodontics – (the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the dental pulp and periradicular tissues. Chestnut Dental has been providing family dentistry in Los Alamitos since 1972. Over the decades we have mastered the art of personalized dental care, Chestnut Dental has become one of the most trusted names within the Greater Orange County and Long Beach area.

We have found that patients who fill out the form ahead of time do not feel rushed, (not a problem if you forget your form), our staff is ready to assist.  If you haven’t been to a Dentist in a while or get anxiety, please let us know and we can help.  Many new patients have anxiety, or had a negative experience with their past Dentist.  We pride ourselves in getting to know you as a patient and make sure we create the best experience possible. Please let know us know if there is anything we can do to better accommodate you.

Preparing for First Appointment

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

To be prepared for your first visit, make sure you arrive early to fill out patient history and insurance forms. You may fill out a head of time (see forms here), and if  you are a new patient or have questions call our front desk.

Tips on white coat syndrome or nervousness?

Please let our staff know that you have experienced anxiety or have had problems previously with past experiences with dental offices, doctors or healthcare procedures. We have several ways to address your concerns and make your experience more comfortable.
